Established in 1970, John Fredericks Plastics have now amassed 49 years of trading with a strong record of innovation and a loyal customer base. The company’s management team attribute the company’s longevity and enviable growth to its focus upon quality, delivery and innovation.
John Fredericks is proud of its record in developing products that offer something new and believes this also stems from its close relationship with both customers and suppliers.
Customers such as Ryan Schofield, the managing director of Bracknell-based Thames Valley Windows who has dealt with the company for 21 years “They’re an important element of our business and they deliver high quality products precisely when we need them,” he comments. “I do feel that we are all part of a team.”
John Fredericks worked with its systems company Halo, back in 1995, to develop what was then the first fully sculptured PVC-U window on the market. The company employed around 70 staff when it started, but now employs 150 staff, servicing over 220 installers throughout the UK.
In 2009 John Fredericks was acquired by the A & B Glass Group. The Group plan was to have two first class manufacturing plants with John Fredericks specifically focussed on servicing the UK Trade market. Its entire product range is aimed at the retail sector.
The John Fredericks product range is branded as the Ultimate CollectionTM. We have a comprehensive range of marketing tools including brochures, point of sale and a retail website. The emphasis of our Ultimate CollectionTM branding is that John Fredericks customers retain their local brand identity whilst having the product range and the marketing support normally associated with a national retail installer.
More recently, product thermal performance, security, colour options and innovative products are all areas where we believe new opportunities exist and will add individuality to your company. Needless to say we are committed to ‘raise the bar’ in all such areas.
