Manufactured using the Smart Systems Visoglide Plus system, Panorama offers installers a practical and versatile aluminium sliding patio door solution for homeowners, architects and developers.
Available in lift-and-slide and inline sliding configurations, the system combines slim aluminium sightlines with generous areas of glass, allowing installers to create bright, spacious interiors while making the most of external views.

PANORAMA aluminium sliding doors are available in two operating styles to suit different project requirements.
Choose from twin or triple track systems, depending on the width of the opening and your preferred configuration of fixed panes and sliding doors.
Lift & Slide Doors
The Panorama Lift & Slide door uses a lifting mechanism to raise the sliding sash slightly from the seals before it moves along the track. This reduces friction and allows large glazed door panels to open smoothly and easily. When closed, the sash lowers back onto the track to help maintain weather performance.
Inline Sliding Doors
The Panorama Inline Sliding door provides a straightforward sliding patio door solution where the door panels move along the track without the lift-and-slide mechanism. This offers a practical, reliable option for projects where smooth horizontal sliding and generous glazed areas are the priority.

Smooth and Easy Operation
The Panorama sliding door system has been developed to provide reliable sliding performance across residential applications.
The lift-and-slide configuration raises the door sash before it moves, reducing friction and helping make even larger, heavier door panels easier to operate.
The system uses stainless steel rollers and a thermally broken aluminium profile, providing a combination of durability, smooth operation and performance.
Thermal Efficiency
Panorama aluminium sliding doors feature a thermally broken aluminium profile designed to help reduce heat transfer between the inside and outside of the property.
The Smart Visoglide Plus system can achieve a U-value as low as 1.6 W/m²K with a 1.0 W/m²K centre pane. It features 28mm double glazed, toughened units as standard.
For installers, this provides a practical aluminium sliding door solution that combines large glazed areas with the thermal performance required for modern residential applications.
Thresholds & Cills
Where the project specification allows, the threshold of the doors can be recessed into the floor level for a reduced step height, for improved accessibility.
For more standard installations, we offer a choice of 2 cill options – 215mm and 300mm.

Aluminium is naturally strong, durable and low maintenance, making it particularly well suited to large glazed door openings.
Panorama sliding doors use a robust aluminium profile with a polyamide thermal break, while the sliding hardware is designed to provide reliable operation over the long term.
All doors are manufactured to your exact specifications by John Fredericks using the Visoglide Plus system; a well-established aluminium sliding door platform used across residential projects throughout the UK.
Security is built into the design of every Panorama sliding and lift-and-slide door. The sliding system features a shootbolt lock with night vent keep, whilst the lift & slide system has the option of 2 hook bolts or 4 pegs, depending on design specification.
COLOUR & FINISH OPTIONS
PANORAMA aluminium inline sliding doors and lift-and-slide doors are available in a choice of standard colours. For projects requiring a more bespoke appearance, any RAL colour is also available.
